Compact® Active Chilled Beam
Compact® Active Chilled Beam has been designed to be easily tailored to suit the unique parameters of indivdual project requirements. The Chilled Beam supplies high levels of cooling and Thermal Comfort and is also avaliable Ceiling Integrated mounted or as an Active Multi-Service Chilled Beam.
Frenger's Compact® Active Chilled Beam has a shallow installation depth, whilst still providing high levels of cooling and heating at low noise levels. Compact® outer casing is constructed from extruded aluminium and zintec pressed steel. Compact® is available in lengths from 1.2m up to 3.6m in 0.1m increments.
Cornice™ Active Chilled Beam
Cornice™ Active Chilled Beam can be used in most types of commercial building applications (including cellular offices, banks, and hospitals) but are most suited to hotel applications with its facility to discreetly nestle, due to concealed connections, in the corner along a back wall, usually directly above the bed location.
Cornice™is also available in any length from 1.8m up to 3.6m in 0.1m increments and has another useful design feature of 'telescopic' extension ends from the end gables to 'fine tune' onsite a wall to wall installation. Cornice™ can have a variety of front fascias for different aesthetics, with the front fascias easily removeable for cleaning and maintenance purposes.
Eco™ Active Chilled Beam
Eco™ Active Chilled Beam provides high levels of cooling (over 1016 watts per metre total cooling) and is also avaliable with factory fitted integrated LED lighting. Eco™ is available as a Healthcare unit which comes as standard with a dropdown heat exchanger battery that allows for a deep clean of the unit.
The air chamber for the Eco™ Chilled Beam is the largest in Frenger's product range and can accomodate up to 90ltrs/sec with its 160mm diameter single air inlet connection point. Supplied with 'Plug and Play' electrical connections, the unit can be used in most types of commerical buildings where a value engineered solution is preferred such as for ceiling integration, with Eco™ only requiring minimal maintenance.
Halo® Active Chilled Beam
Halo® is a high-capacity Active Chilled Beam which has a small footprint and as such has become increasingly popular as they can free up ceiling area whilst handling significant heat gains and losses. Frenger's Halo® has unique 360° air discharge and concealed air discharge vanes which allows high air volume to be introduced into the space with minimal air movement and optimal heating and cooling performance.
The Halo® also comes available as a Healthcare Active Chilled Beam with a dropdown heat exchanger battery to allow for a deep clean of the unit.
Ultima™ Active Chilled Beam
Ultima™ 300 Active Chilled Beam is only 290mm deep and 292mm wide and can achieve 525 watts per metre total cooling (based on 10Δtk and 26 ltrs/sec/m for a 2.4m long beam supplied at 16°C with a 100Pa).
Featuring a one way air discharge, Ultima™ Active Chilled Beam can achieve high cooling and heating performance with the outer casing of the beam being constructed from extruded aluminium and zintec pressed steel to facilitate an aluminium burst nozzle and a high performance heat exchange battery. Ultima™ operates well at 'low pressure' and 'low air volume' for increased energy efficiency providing an indoor climate in accordance with BS EN ISO 7730. Ultima™ also has a healthcare option available.
X-Wing® Passive Chilled Beam
X-Wing® 'Radiant' Passive Chilled Beam can be installed 'exposed' or can be ideal for 'concealed' applications such as behind perforated metal ceilings or within architectural metal ceilings such for ceiling integration or freely suspended as Multi-Service Chilled Beams.
The high cooling output low air movement beam is constructed from copper and aluminium and is 100 percent recyclable. The copper coil is produced by Frenger's in-house fully automatic bespoke "state of the art" full CNC serpentine bend machine. This produces seamless sinusoidal copper coils (without any joins, hence no risk of water leakage) up to 6m in length, with up to 12 water passes at 70mm tube centres. X-Wing® is available in Black or White and can be available with integrated LED lighting.
Active Multi-Service Chilled Beams (MSCBs)
Compact® Active Multi-Service Chilled Beam (MSCB) is a slim line unit featuring bespoke Architectural Visuals that uses a supply of fresh ventilation air to draw warm room air to the unit's cooling battery. This warmer room air is cooled as it passes through the finned tube cooling batteries, which comprise aluminium fins with copper channels through which cool water passes.
A full range of building services can be incorporated within a Multi-Service Chilled Beam unit, which is supplied with 'Plug and Play' electrical connections, including; heating & cooling, fresh air supply, integrated LED lighting, BMS sensors, control valves & condensation sensors, fire alarms & sprinkler heads, as well as pipework, ductwork, and compartmental trunking.
